Software Engineer

 

Our company is evolving rapidly in radar detection systems and so we are currently on the lookout for a flexible Software Engineer to join our team and assist in the development and testing of systems ranging from embedded real time to front-end.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Support a Senior Engineer in the design, development and testing of software

• Develop real-time stable software to meet design requirements

• Plan and conduct detailed software testing

• Support software products through the phases of the engineering life cycle

 

Experience:

• 2 + years in software design engineering role

• Proficient in C/C++ Software Development

• Sound Working knowledge of both Linux and Microsoft Windows

• Bash scripting

• Experience in development of real time software system

• Experience with source control management processes

 

Desirable:

• Exposure to Matlab

• Windows/C#

 

 

Additionally, an understanding or experience in hardware development would be an advantage with the ability to understand electronic schematics and PCB layout as well as a knowledge of FPGA programming (VHDL) a definite benefit.
